Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Document damaged, worn, or broken parts and conduct preventative maintenance functions. Collaborate with other technicians to analyze and resolve complex problems while adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Essential Skills

  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Related experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery using specialized tools and equipment

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience

  • 3+ years of troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions

  • 3+ years following a PM schedule

  • Electrical experience (nice to have)

Work Environment

The role is based in a GMP environment that is climate-controlled, located at the main facility in Burlington, WI. The maintenance team covers shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM, with this position covering 8 of those hours and working up to 50 hours a week. The facility packages a variety of food products and consists of 8 production lines with super sack fed gravity packaging machines. An exciting 50,000 sqft expansion is planned for Q1.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
