Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Burlington, Wisconsin
Description We are seeking a meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in Burlington, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of accounting functions, including maintaining and analyzing general ledger accounts and activities, assisting in monthly and yearly closing processes, contributing to the year-end audit process, and providing backup for senior accountants.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee, maintain, and analyze general ledger accounts and activities to ensure compliance with GAAP
• Conduct variance analysis, control, and costing
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Contribute to the year-end audit process
• Support accounting staff and department with day-to-day accounting duties
• Act as a backup for senior accountants
• Train with Accounting Manager and have the opportunity for advancement
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC) to perform accounting functions
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Conduct Auditing and manage Billing Functions Requirements • Must have proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is necessary
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is a plus
• Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed
• Auditing skills are essential
• Must be able to handle Billing Functions.
