Business Development Administrator

As a diverse and rapidly growing organization, TWD is a leading organization in the oil and gas industry with expertise ranging from refinery, pipelines, terminalling and blending, renewables, food and beverage, power, and much more.

TWD is currently seeking a Business Development Administrator to work out of our company office in Burlington, ON. 

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business development team in various administrative tasks and initiatives aimed at driving growth and expansion for the organization. Your responsibilities will include assisting with managing databases, coordinating meetings, and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the business development function. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of business development efforts and gain valuable experience in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems and databases with accurate and current information.

  • Prepare and distribute marketing materials, presentations, and proposals for business development purposes.

  • Coordinate meetings, calls, and appointments for the business development team, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up actions.

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing events, conferences, and trade shows, including logistics, registration, and promotional activities.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, analyses, and presentations to track business development metrics, performance indicators, and market trends.

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Business Development, including managing correspondence, responding to inquiries, and organizing travel arrangements.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering, Project Management, and Finance, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all business development activities.

    Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a business development or sales environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Strong Written Skillset

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record keeping, and documentation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative, solve problems, and work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a business development role, with a passion for contributing to organizational success.
