Power-Flo Technologies Pump Repair Technician in Buffalo, New York
Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a Pump Repair Technician to join the team at our Buffalo shop location. Experience with submersible and centrifugal style pumps & motors preferred!
Pump Repair Technician Essential Responsibilities
Disassemble mechanical ac & dc motors, gear units and submersible and centrifugal style pumps.
Assemble mechanical ac & dc motors, gear units and pumps.
Diagnose problems and failures of incoming units to ensure the customer’s complaint is resolved.
Interpret and apply dimensional measurements
Measure and record electrical data, mechanical fits and clearances.
Recording all necessary materials in order to complete the repair
Follow all necessary instructions in order to complete the repair
Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times
Organize and maintain shop tools and equipment
Organize and maintain personal tools and equipment
Willing and able to work OT as required.
Pump Repair Technician Necessary Qualifications
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Basic knowledge regarding use of a pc
Competent with the use of electrical test equipment, i.e. Multi meter, shop tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, hoists, etc.
Mechanical aptitude required
Knowledge of pump systems and electric motors
Ability to work both with a team and independently
Experience in pump mechanics
Experience with submersible and centrifugal style pumps & motors preferred
A valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles
Physical Requirements
Ability to Stand for 8 Hours
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work on elevated platforms
Ability to climb ladders

Salary Range: Between $17 - $32/hour (based on experience)
