The selected candidate will assist in preserving the good operating condition of the company's production equipment. This is done through regular preventative maintenance and break/fix work, as necessary. Because of this, prior experience working with equipment in the box/packaging industry is preferred but not required.
In addition to performing the duties above, the selected candidate may perform facility maintenance tasks including painting, landscaping, and minor plumbing/electrical repairs, and ensure the proper functioning of mechanical systems on the premises may also undertake the responsibility of making periodic visits to select customers to perform maintenance/repairs on previously sold equipment. This equipment would include stretch wrappers, paper packing systems, taping systems, strapping machines, etc.
Skills: -Proven experience as a maintenance technician -Prior experience with equipment in the corrugated and/or packaging industry is a plus -Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems -Knowledge of general industrial equipment preventative maintenance processes and methods -Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills -Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime -High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus

Schedule: -8-hour shift -Monday to Friday 7 am 3:30 pm
Experience: -Industrial Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification: -Driver's License (Required) -Work Location: In person
Job Type: Full-time Starting $27/hour.
