Position Summary:
The Department of Emergency Medicine (https://medicine.buffalo.edu/departments/emergency.html) within The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in the University at Buffalo is in need of a PhD to join the faculty. The candidate will be required to identify and pursue sources of ongoing funding for Emergency Medicine.
We have a diverse group that includes many academically accomplished faculty that draw their experience from 8 Western New York hospitals providing an excellent base of patients for potential studies and many potential research partners within our local EMS community. The ability to work with multi-faceted Emergency Medicine faculty and work as a mentor to our 48 residents is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in a related field – medical, health science, public health, etc.
Experience in academic research; with academic achievement and productivity as evidenced by combination of scholarships, publications and grant funding
