Cedar Fair Night Services Attendant in BUENA PARK, California

Overview:

The Night Services Attendant is responsible for the detailed cleaning of the park grounds including the entertainment areas, parking lots, backstage areas, and all attractions.

Salary Details: $17.25/hr. - $19.23/hr., based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the cleanliness of the park grounds through a variety of detailed cleaning tasks such as cleaning the exterior of all park facilities, using sweeping equipment, hoses, and blowers to clean the park grounds, cleaning and removing debris from park.

  • Operates machinery related to maintaining park cleanliness including pressure washers, carpet machines, trash compactors, and cardboard balers; operates multiple vehicles including pick-up trucks, vacuum trucks, tractors, and forklifts (not immediately applicable to all employees).

  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

  • Performs routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections on various types of hand and power equipment; notifies the Team Leader if there are any repairs that need to be made or safety concerns to be addressed.

  • Follow standard operating procedures including the use of personal protective equipment in conducting all cleaning tasks.

  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • At least 0 - 2 years equivalent work experience

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays as needed per business needs.

  • Must possess a valid California Driver License, Class C or greater.

  • Must be able to work outdoors for entire shift in all weather and lighting conditions.

  • Must be able to work at heights and from ladders and platforms.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and on uneven surfaces.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
