As Account to Report Closing and Reporting Senior Accountant within our Account to Report team, you’ll deliver General Ledger monthly closing and reporting services to Sanofi Business Operations.
The Senior Closing & Reporting Accountant reports to A2R Closing & Reporting Lead and works closely with Finance (Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control), other SBO departments, Customer Service and the A2R team.

Main responsibilities
Perform monthly closing activities as per Group timetable
Prepare management, tax, legal and statutory reporting at Group and country levels
Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner
Deliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
About you
Experience
Good and proven experience in GL accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment
Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs
Hands on expertise in GL accounting, closing & reporting processes, and activities
Knowledge of GL accounting and reporting
Experience in working within a Business Services organization
Soft and technical skills
Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with A2R front line teams with an end-to-end mindset
Good communication skills
Attentive to customer needs and feedback
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel
Hands on knowledge of SAP FICO and other accounting applications related IT tools (e.g. Trintech Cadency)
Leadership
Ability to organize, prioritize and structure the tasks for oneself and direct reports
Attentive to detail and works with precision
Action oriented, delivery driven, change agent
Role model / coach to junior analysts
Education
- Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance
Languages
Fluent in English
Second European language is advantage (preferred French)
