We are looking for a committed technical leader with strong interpersonal skills to help define a vision of accelerating and standardizing buildout of Azure cloud platform and build a team to deliver the vision.

Responsibilities

• Partner with appropriate stakeholders to determine requirements within and across teams.

• Lead development of designs that improve security, compliance and scalability of Azure buildout platform.

• Drive long and short-term plans and work items in coordination with stakeholders.

• Organize monitoring and response to degradation, downtime, or interruptions of buildout platform and process.

• Act as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual (DRI).

• Actively engage with partners across multiple organizations and geographies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND multiple years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience

• Multiple years people management experience.

• Outstanding team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work cross team and collaborate with others.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

• Excellent hands-on design, coding, and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with developing large-scale cloud services or enterprise software.
