JOB SCOPE:

As Head of Trade Maketing you are responsible for the field marketing, advertisement and PR for our EssilorLuxottica products in Romania (covering Essilor Blue, Rhein Vision and frames).

Furthermore, you are working very closely with the sales department and you are preparing and conducting the marketing activities in close cooperation with the marketing team of the CEE and headquarters which is responsible for the implementation of the marketing strategy in CEE.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Manage the marketing team (3p) and provide guidance, feedback and development.

  • Development and realisation of the strategic B2B and B2B2C Marketing for the domestic market.

  • Responsible for the local implementation of the strategic marketing plan and budget.

  • Control and analyse of objective achievement.

  • Coordination and planning of the annual marketing plan and budget and marketing calendar based on master plan.

  • Increase of the market share and name recognition through active product und brand positioning.

  • Active market and competition observation.

  • Launch of new and introduced products under consideration of price policy and sales promotion (below the line activities).

  • Development and structuring of processes to improve the marketing cooperation with local chains and distributors.

  • Responsible for the right implementation and monitoring of CI guidelines.

  • Leading and controlling the work with agencies and partners.

  • Commuting to Rhein Vision (in Ploiești) 1 time per week.

INTERNAL : all departments

EXTERNAL : customers, distributors, media, suppliers

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing or Business

  • 10 years’ experience in strategic marketing and marketing mix knowledge

  • Brand-Management knowledge and Trade Marketing experience

  • Experience in an international company with strong marketing guidance

  • Experience with distributors and key accounts

  • Excellent leadership skills, capacity to build the team spirit and positive team mindset

  • “Hands-on” mentality, solution-oriented and structured way of thinking and working

  • Pro-active and customer-oriented

  • Consistent with a defined strategy

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent English and Fluent Romanian
