Honeywell Sr. Engineering Technician in Broomfield, Colorado

Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking an experienced Sr. Engineering Technician for our Broomfield, CO location.

Key Responsibilities:

•Independently performs electrical and mechanical assembly of prototype systems and processes.

•Assists senior technicians, engineers, and scientists in the execution of project milestones and deliverables.

•Assists in documentation of existing systems and processes.

•Responsible for general lab maintenance and organization, engages in 5S events.

The annual base salary for this position is $58,000.00 - $72,500.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

U.S. Citizenship is required due contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

•4+ years’ technician experience in an R&D lab, field service or related field.

•U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

WE VALUE

• Associate of Science degree in a related STEM discipline or Military equivalent.

• Practical, hands-on experience working with vacuum systems.

• Experience with wiring assemblies.

• Experience with chilled water systems and liquefied gas system's.

• Ability to find effective solutions based on root causes.

• Sound technical judgment and opinions.

• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting.

• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.

• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
