ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

$70,000 - $86,000, DOE

PROJECT LOCATION

Onsite - Faribault, MN

Upon project completion (TBD), transition to onsite in our Brooklyn Park, MN, office

JOB SUMMARY

As a Mechanical Design Engineer in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, you may be tasked with: part and assembly 3D modeling, study and analysis, research & development related to power systems and supply; creating and documenting designs, assisting with prototype or production builds, preparing cost estimates and project schedules, presenting and demonstrating designs to key stakeholders and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required

  • 2+ years 3-D design experience required

  • Experience sourcing components and working with vendors required

  • Product development experience preferred

  • Project management experience preferred

  • Experience with electronics and electrical equipment a plus
