Location: 4900 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144-2302 Department Overview: Foreign Exchange Operations provides the transactional support for the global trading of international currencies. Foreign Exchange transactions are conducted with clients of KeyBank and entered into the FX System of record, known as Spectrum. Operations is responsible for reviewing, confirming trade details, settling payments, investigating discrepancies and various system support functions for the entire life cycle of a trade. Essential Job Functions: Obtain and input settlement instructions into the Spectrum system for client FX transactions. Ensure instructions are accurate and complete. Confirm Corporate FX trades with external/internal clients based upon the client's preferred method (i.e. phone, email) to ensure accuracy of details and obtain delivery instructions of foreign and U.S. amounts. Add new or update current client information into Spectrum. Notify FX Sales reps of discrepancies in daily trade input and resolve prior to the end of day. Run Spectrum End of Day processes, create interface files and generate reporting that is distributed to various departments within the bank. Marginal Job Functions: Cross train to provide support for other functions of the unit. Focus on Continuous Improvement, championing and supporting improvement opportunities. Maintain updated procedures and workflow documentation. Provide project support duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications: 1-3 years of related work experience in an Operations environment. Effective communication skills to interact with External Bank Clients and Internal Line of Business Partners Strong detail orientation, precision and exactness. Ability to independently multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong Personal Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to work within a team orientated department Preferred Qualifications: A working knowledge of the Foreign Exchange business. Ability to learn new concepts quickly and develop an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of foreign exchange products. Excellent organizational and balancing skills to ensure that multiple transactions associated with a single payment are accurate. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $20 to $22 per hour depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
