Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Technical Lead within our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain solutions that meet web design requirements to help build and/or maintain websites through team and individual efforts.
  • Maintain, design, build efficient, reusable, and reliable code for Java based applications using Spring framework and Azure functions.
  • Review existing applications and make changes and/or address application issues.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues to ensure an error-free experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java design patterns and implementation as needed.
  • Ability to write SQL queries, DDL & DML
  • Technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 15+ years of overall experience.
  • Programming language - Java
  • Strong in Core Java fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming concepts Knowledge of web service programming such as REST or SOAP
  • Experience with testing using tools like JUnit and methodologies like TDD
  • Working knowledge and understanding of data models, SQL Server database
  • Working experience with Spring and Hibernate JPA.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools and methodologies

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $116,000 to $191500.
