The Electronics Technician - Rapid PCBA is a member of our technician team in the Power Tool Electronics Laboratory. Your main responsibility will be populating printed circuit boards to deliver Electronic Prototypes on time, with high quality and with a continuous improvement mindset.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate automated assembly equipment for prototype PCBAs.

  • Collaborate with all members of the Rapid PCBA team regarding material readiness and setup status.

  • Provide post assembly manufacturing feedback regarding best practices

  • Assist in completing preventive maintenance on equipment.

  • Effectively communicate project delays and updates.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Work to improve productivity while maintaining quality standards

  • Assist in continuous improvement and process implementation activities.

What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical school. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Strong knowledge of operating soldering equipment typically used for both densely populated SMT circuits as well as wiring for power electronics.

  • Ability to read schematics.

  • IPC knowledge.

  • Must be able to identify electronic components, polarity, values, etc.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using and working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Manufacturing experience with Automated assembly and inspection equipment.

  • Experience working alongside engineers in an engineering/electronics lab.
