Actalent Electrical Engineer in Brookfield, Wisconsin

Hiring for an Electrical Engineer with recent experience using (Altium). Must be able to commute to Brookfield, Wisconsin when necessary

Description:

Electrical Engineer will be responsible for product design and rapid development of products and hardware development.

There is flexibility to work 2 days per week, on average, remotely and onsite, in Brookfield, Wisconsin an average of 3 days per week.

This role reports to the Engineering manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the development during the full product life cycle.

Help support and maintain existing products as they are developed

Independently drive solutions to completion

Connect with and coordinate with engineers in multiple sites

Ensure these projects follow the appropriate standard process used (such as 3D and agile).

Develop functional block diagram for hardware design risk assessment

Hardware design & manage PCBA build

Circuit design, simulation and analysis

Circuit and product risk assessment (P Diagram, FMEA)

Develop BOM, product costing and manage PCBA build

Product development, validation, regulatory and production planning

Develop project plan for system development

Create validation plan for device and lead risk assessment for manufacturing

Review product assembly flow plan for controls and containment

Support product approval for production

Collaborate with other functions such as sourcing, operations, customer support, etc. to ensure on-time product launches as well as post-launch support.

Execute project to established timeline with tight budgetary controls

circuit design, pcb design, validation, schematic capture, altium, wireless, radio

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

2+ years experience in product development

2+ years of experience in hardware circuit design & development.

Altium experience

Experienced in schematic capture, simulation, pcb stack and layout build. Experienced in power, signal and sensor interface.

Knowledgeable in wireless radio system design
