Lab Tech (CMM Programmer OR GD&T)
Sterling Hts, Mi
Will be responsible for ensuring the Test Lab and CMM work is performed in an acceptable manner within requirements of established procedures. Perform CMM function in the areas of testing for incoming materials/chemicals. Validation/verification of design tests on new and/or modified products. Operating the CMM(s), Gage and Fixture Calibration program, and the Calibration system, assist the Quality Department in the daily production requirements for the CMM, work with the Quality Manager, Supervisor in all methods and procedures to ensure conformity to customer specific.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/GED.
3-5 years of automotive CMM programming experience.
Proficient at reading part drawings.
Must have strong knowledge of GD&T.
Proficient with Zeiss CMM.
Required to learn PC-DMIS & Calypso software if not already proficient.
Must be able to use advanced measuring equipment.
Able to work 2nd shift.
