Job Description:
The Senior Engineer - Manufacturing Automation with experience in vertical integration of the Control Systems, SCADA, and Process Historian Products etc.
The Senior Engineer with strong background in Manufacturing IT and Control systems; specifically, integration of control systems with IT systems. It includes but is not limited to PLC, SCADA and MES and Process Historian
Exposure to planning and executing
Networking experience; working knowledge of Enterprise Networking and local control networks.
Pharmaceutical Operations experience, in a GMP Pilot Plant, Manufacturing environment or related facility
Must be able to communicate clearly (oral and written) and frequently with operations and other support groups.
Required Experience and Skills:
The OT/IT Integration Engineer with experience in the configuration of Kepware EX as Gateway for integration of different make PLCs on vendor proprietary protocols OR OPC. Integration with Beckhoff Twin CAT PLCs, B and R IPC, and OPC Euromap 77 will be advantageous.
Data Integration from Kepware Edge to Ignition Edge / Gateway with MQTT, following defined UNS standard
Structuring the data in an intuitive namespace, and making data available to historians or upstream layers on MQTT
Knowledgeable of best practices for performance and optimization of Kepware and MQTT
Configuration and Programming in Beckhoff TwincCAT3 and Band R Automation Studio for the development of functions and data integration
Experience in Ignition Edge / Gateway configuration for data integration on the MQTT
Experience in Canary Historian and Seeq will be added advantage
Validation and Qualification of automation system for the dataflow. Documentation and protocol execution for pharmaceutical industries
Documentation of best practices, internal Knowledge Articles, and other communications.
Understand and support all GMPs, safety, and environmental regulations.
Evaluate automated and information technology systems and develop strategies to optimize and ensure the quality and stability of automation systems through future expansion, replacement, or upgrade.
Use their technical knowledge to ensure the robust and efficient operation of a variety of automated processing and information technology systems.
Experience with automation system architecture, design, start-up and/or qualification.
Experienced problem solver/troubleshooter, skilled in root cause analysis
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational skills to multi-task.
Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong analytical thinking and technical writing skills
Proficient in MS Office Platform and document storage systems
A prominent level of innovation, creativity, and self-initiative.

Experience with Process Data Historian Canary and Seeq -
Configuration, Event Frames, Notifications, etc. as per Plant Hierarchy
Develop on-demand reports, dashboards, etc. System performance optimization, monitoring system health, upgrades, etc.
