ST JOHN'S BANK & TRUST CO Full Time Teller in BRIDGETON, Missouri
Purpose of Position:
Provide excellent and professional customer service. Process both business and individual banking transactions. Manage a cash drawer with accuracy. Follow proper policies and procedures. Maintain and promote customer relationships.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions in either the bank lobby or drive-thru windows
- Perform regulatory functions for those transactions which require them, such as Reg CC and BSA forms
- Responsible for accurate daily balancing of a cash drawer
- Sell Cashier Checks, Money Orders, and Official Bank Checks
- Redeem Savings Bonds and process Cash Advances
- Provide customer service that builds customer relationships, cross-sell bank products/services, and assist customers with problem resolution
- May be required to cross-train as a Personal Banker
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6 months prior teller experience or experience in positions requiring heavy cash handling and balancing
- Ability to cross-train as a Personal Banker
- Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Basic PC experience, including Windows 10
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to recognize and differentiate colors
- Extensive customer contact requiring proven skills in building relationships which will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank
