Responsible for greeting patients and utilizing check in log, directing patients to appropriate area if not for registration, and maintaining a flow of patients to available registrars.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: EXPERIENCE: 1. One (1) year customer service experience.

- Appropriately greets patients, guests, and families.
- If patient is to be registered for services, document appropriate information on the patient check in log.
- Continually accesses registrar's availability for patient processing and maintains patient flow throughout registration process. Communicates problems hindering work flow to management.
- Directs patients to appropriate departments.
- Accurately problem solves patients complaints effectively per standard.
- Develops and maintains a good working rapport intra/departmentally to insure and facilitate a friendly atmosphere.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing and places high emphasis on customer service. Receives and relays pertinent information to other members of the healthcare team.
