Job Description

Seeking a qualified A&P Mechanic to perform inspections and scheduled heavy maintenance and modifications at the West Virginia Air Center. You will be working in a PART 145 / MRO facility in a fast-paced, project-based environment, primarily on CRJs (regional jets). Due to growing business demands and the addition of new lines of maintenance and inspection work, the role will be dynamic and time-sensitive. You will be provided with work orders and will have specific timeframes to complete tasks. Hence, the ability to work under time constraints and independently is critical. The typical turnaround for aircraft overhaul is 7-10 days.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Work Environment

This position will be based at the West Virginia Air Center. You will work in a heavy MRO environment, supporting heavy C/D checks on CRJ aircraft for Regional Airlines. This role requires working a southern swing shift: 4 days on (12-hour days) & 3 days off, then the next week 3 days on (12 hours) & 4 days off. The facility operates 24/7, and shifts are 7a-7p & 7p-7a. The dress code is casual (T-shirts and shorts/jeans) with steel-toed shoes. Standard PPE including safety glasses/goggles is required at all times on the shop floor. Additional PPE may be required depending on the task being performed (fall protection, hearing protection, Tyvek suit, etc.). Safety training, including fall protection training, will be provided during the initial week-long orientation class. Safety is paramount at this facility.
