Roles & Responsibilities:
Drawing download, prepare RFQ/RFP packages and e-RFQ to approved suppliers
Supplier coordination, project kick off, on time query resolution, quote follow up and closure
Costed BOM analysis and supplier’s quote comparison
Inflation and deflation analysis and supplier recommendation
Progress tracking and update to stakeholders
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Procurement/Supply Chain degree with min. 5 yrs. of experience in procurement /purchase activities in mechanical/electrical items
Well versed with supply chain terminologies
Strong analytical mindset and logical thinking
SAP/ERP experience
Expert in MS office
Team player with strong communication
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge in understanding drawings and technical specifications
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
