SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR - International Manufacturer in Winder
My client, a well-respected international manufacturer in Winder, is Koki Group is currently undergoing a significant transformation. Their Internal Audit team is rebuilding to address new and emerging risks in a rapidly changing business environment. They are developing innovative audit approaches to ensure these risks are effectively managed. The Senior Internal Auditor will be expected to understand operations and identify risks or issues in assigned areas. The Senior Internal Auditor will participate in group audits, covering risks and controls across various geographies.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Take initiative and act independently without waiting for instructions.
Conduct audit projects by gathering necessary information from stakeholders and completing procedures timely.
Promptly update the Head of Internal Audit on progress and inform of any issues or challenges.
Document audit procedures and test results to standard quality. Perform quality assurance reviews on workpapers prepared by team members.
Lead audit engagements and support team members to ensure progress.
Prepare audit reports and present findings to stakeholders, including management.
Engage regularly with key stakeholders to promote risk awareness and stay alert to updates that may impact the risk landscape.
Develop healthy partnerships with 1st and 2nd Lines while maintaining independence. Serve as a point of contact on risk or control matters.
Train 1st and 2nd Lines to enhance awareness of risks and controls.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field, such as Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Business.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Governance Risk Compliance Professional (GRCP) Certification is highly preferred.
5+ years of experience in Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, or GRC.
Excellent in project management. Excellent in research, planning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of IT risks and controls Relevant Experience:
Big 4 and/or other public accounting/ audit/ consulting experience is highly preferred.
Experience with cross-functional projects or global assignments or prior experience working within an international company is highly preferred.
Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
Business-level proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Business-level proficiency in other languages spoken in the region is a plus.
