Job Title: Architect Project Manager
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Architect Project Manager to oversee the technical development and design aspects of various projects, ensuring they comply with project budgets and schedules. The role involves selecting and evaluating design components, formulating responses to existing conditions, and supervising the production of Construction Documents through CAD and BIM. Responsibilities also include construction administration for select projects, maintaining project files, and ensuring clear documentation and communication of specific project tasks to both clients and team members. The ideal candidate will manage between 1 to 15 projects simultaneously, focusing on new construction work of schools and office buildings that require steel frame construction.
Hard Skills
Architectural License
REVIT
Experience in Public, Education, and Commercial Design
Technical experience in all phases of design, documentation, detailing, and construction
Knowledge of building codes
Soft Skills
Strong client interaction skills
Ability to manage and train staff
Ability to handle a fast-paced and sometimes hectic work environment
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in New Jersey and some days remote.
Work Environment
The firm consists of 25 people with 3 active principals. Located Central, NJ, the office maintains a work hard, play hard environment with team outings, bagel Fridays, happy hours, etc. The day-to-day work is fast-paced and sometimes hectic.
