Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Boulder CO
Salary: 90-110K Mon - Friday work week Flexible start times
Responsibilities
Support transition of new products from design to production Develop testing methodologies for new products Design and validate new test stations and fixtures Create engineering documentation (change notices, parts lists, bills of materials, test reports, and test procedures) Provide technical guidance to production test technicians pertaining to failure analysis, test methodology, and corrective actions Troubleshoot production hardware to determine root cause of failures and document and identify corrective actions Work with suppliers to resolve technical hardware issues Optimize processes to reduce cost and increase throughput Maintain processes and procedures in accordance with ISO9000 standards Determine, create and analyze metrics to target cost improvements Support hardware integration and test Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic systems and equipment used in manufacturing
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience US Citizenship 3 years minimum work experience in high-tech manufacturing environment 3 years minimum work experience in Labview
Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Experience performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of PCBA's to the component level Experience developing software in Python Ability to develop ATE and bench test systems using standard lab equipment; network analyzer, power meter, RF signal generator, etc. Design of evaluation PCBs, probe cards, and test fixtures Ability to layout electrical circuit and schematics Experience using Six Sigma or working in a Lean Manufacturing environment Experience utilizing SPC or DOE Experience with Frequency Control Products such as oscillators and reference clocks.
