Can you match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks? A dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Clerk is located in the Boulder, Colorado area.
Your responsibilities
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Perform special projects as assigned
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Perform full-cycle A/P Requirements - Purchase Orders experience preferred
Account reconciliation experience
Deep understanding of Check Runs
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Command of Accounts Payable (AP)
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
