Position summary
T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr. Engineers, Software is located in Bothell, WA will Facilitate technical specification reviews and demos, as well as program code with the technical team, communicate design, requirements, feature sets, functionality, and limitations of systems, as well as applications, to team and development lead.
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Research, design, and develop computer and system software.
- Drive agile development workflow.
- Provide on-call and after hours support for production releases and to provide active resolution support on production outages.
- Contribute to and work to meet project schedules.
- Performs peer reviews.
- Collaborate with architects and Software Engineers on design.
- Collaborate with Business and IT partner teams to deliver product enhancements and support.
Supervise contract resources.
Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Skill requirements:
Must have professional experience in:
Designing and developing advanced enterprise web applications using Java and J2EE technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Struts framework, REST, JSON, jQuery, and JavaScript).
Creating and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs using Spring boot Microservices.
Using the following AWS Services: Lambda, API gateway, S3, EC2, and Cloud watch.
Driving Continuous integration and delivery of web applications to Pivotal cloud foundry using GitLab pipelines, using Kubernetes to orchestrate deployment, scaling, and management of docker containers.
Designing and implementing Retail web solutions using Groovy on Grails and using Python and Shell scripts to build business solutions.
Working with MongoDB, Oracle, and IBM DB2 solutions, and using Splunk to troubleshoot and debug web based solutions.
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related, and 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelors relevant work experience.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
