Accountabilities: Assisting with the morning and afternoon routines, including feeding the child, preparing bottles, bathing, and napping time. Tending to the general and basic needs of the child while providing supervision to ensure her safety in day-to-day activities. Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities such as interactive play and sensory stimulation. In case of illness or injury, provide the necessary medical attention; for example, closely monitor the child's symptoms and health concerns, take his temperature, and administer medications as directed. Bathing, changing diapers, grooming, and washing the child and ensuring that her clothes are changed several times a day. Creating a safe environment for the child by removing hazards and enforcing appropriate boundaries. Performing housekeeping tasks related to child care, such as cooking, doing laundry, folding clothes, and doing the dishes. Cleaning up (vacuum/sweep/wipe down) areas the child utilizes. Organizing child closets, drawers, and toys. Potty training. Driving him to playdates, parks, and classes. Requires a High School Diploma, or GED, or foreign equivalent and 24 months of experience with children in any occupation
