The Materials Handle The Material Handler III is responsible for the movement, control, and maintenance of the companys material inventory assets, and the day-to-day prioritization of functional tasks as directed by the Distribution Manager to meet the companys requirements and goals

Responsibilities and Duties:

Shipping and Receiving

o Responsible for all individual receipts and overseeing personnel with all transactions within the companys ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software system. Maintains documentation/logging activities in relation to all incoming materials and items from outside sources into the companys inventory asset warehouses or expensed locations, while adhering to the Materials Department goals and objectives.

o Assists as required in coordinating with Receiving Inspection (RI) to ensure that incoming inspections of zero picks or Priority Parts and any special inspection requirements are performed in a timely manner by the assigned Receiving Inspector.

o Assists as required the receipt, and proper routing of customer product returns (RMAs) within the guidelines of the companys returned material authorization process.

o Provides assistance as needed with transaction history investigations pertaining to receiving accuracy discrepancies.

o Collaborate with Purchasing for all receiving Greif items as needed.

Inventory Control

o Responsible for all individual inventory transactions within the companys ERP software systems.

o Responsible for the physical handling the movement of materials within all warehouses, including MW (main warehouse), FG (finished goods), MRB (discrepant material review), MFGW (production warehouse) and RMA (returned goods).

o Performs periodic physical inventories and/or maintenance of a cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy and reporting.

o Provides input and assists in the implementation of efficiency improvements in all warehouse processes.

o Ensures zero picks or Priority Parts and any special requirements are performed in a timely manner out to Production

o Ensures the processing time goals set by Materials Department for FG processing are met.

o Provides input and assists in revising procedures related to warehouse activities to ensure continuous improvement, accuracy, and efficiency.

o Assist with all inventory variance investigations as required.

Leadership

o Responsible for providing training to temporary and full-time-direct hourly employees performing or assisting in one or more of the job functions described above.

o Provides input for activities related to the hiring and performance appraisal of employees.

Housekeeping

o Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly appearance of the companys inventory warehouse areas.

Company Support

o Responsible for providing support to co-workers pertaining to the movement of production and non-production related materials. This includes providing assistance in Engineering, Production, receiving tradeshow materials, shipment requests, etc.

Experience, Education, Training, Traits:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Five years of experience required in the movement of materials within a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience working within a rigorous, quality controlled environment such as FDA cGMP/QSR or ISO.

A strong team player with the demonstrated abilities and willingness to coordinate, assist and direct the day-to-day tasks (from menial to analytical) within a dynamic fast paced Warehouse environment, and to support overall goals established for any area within the warehouse.

ERP software-based inventory management systems specific experience a plus.

Forklift operation certification a plus.

Ability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds for short durations.

Must be available to work overtime on weekdays and weekends as workload increases, and or required by business needs or management.

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $23 to $33 per hour.
