Description
We are in search of a User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user interface and experience of our platform, working closely with various team members and stakeholders. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and is integral to the development of our platform's intuitiveness and impact.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with team members, including engineers and legal professionals, to design user interfaces that are intuitive and impactful
• Leading the design of platform and marketing assets to ensure cohesive branding and user experience
• Facilitating a seamless handoff of design assets and clear communication of the intended user experience to the engineering team
• Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards within the team
• Evaluating platform usage through qualitative and quantitative metrics and spearheading efforts for improvement
• Handling a variety of design tasks as they arise
• Utilizing design tools such as Figma and conducting User Experience Research to optimize platform design.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a User Experience (UX) Designer
• Proficiency in Figma
• Demonstrated experience in User Experience Research (UX Research)
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices
• Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
• Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications. Innovation starts with people.®
