Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly capable, self-directed Sr. Partner Marketing Manager to help drive customer adoption of AWS’s Cloud Computing platform through AWS Technology Partners. In this role, you will develop and deliver partner marketing programs that enable AWS Technology Partners within the Financial Services (Capital Markets) industry to acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers and deliver growth in revenue from solutions built on AWS services. You will develop a deep understanding of the AWS Technology Partner community and Financial Services IBU priorities to define and execute a global partner marketing plan to support growth objectives. You will work directly with top AWS Technology Partners within the Financial Services industry to develop and execute best-in-class joint-marketing plans. You will act as the primary marketing contact and consultant for strategic partners to build and execute joint marketing plans and GTM programs.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute best-in-class marketing campaigns and programming with key partners that effectively drive awareness and adoption of AWS services.

  • Work closely with the Partner leaders and key stakeholders to identify segment priorities and partner marketing initiatives.

  • Design global partner marketing programs and use case campaigns that are executed globally

  • Develop detailed campaign plans, including campaign goals, messaging, content, call to action, marketing distribution channels, follow-up activities, and success metrics.

  • Work closely with top AWS partners to build joint value proposition messaging and content.

Able to travel to meet with sales leaders, partners, attend events and support the sales team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience in B2B marketing within the Financial Services industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
