Robert Half Senior Staff Accountant in Boston, Massachusetts
Description
We are on the lookout for a diligent Senior Staff Accountant to be a part of our team located in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure it is up to date
• Prepare and post journal entries as required
• Ensure the month end close processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Operate and manage the NetSuite system effectively and efficiently.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and management
• Thorough understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures
• Proven experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance and reporting
• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain Journal Entries
• Experience in conducting Month End Close processes
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks
