Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician who is skilled in a variety of work including the preventative maintenance and assistance in repair of buildings and grounds in assigned areas.
The role involves inspecting assigned areas on a routine basis and performing maintenance where necessary to keep the facility in a functioning and serviceable condition.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures, repairing and maintaining various fixtures and hardware, and reporting any major maintenance needs.
Qualifications
3-5 years of building maintenance experience within commercial properties.
Experience being a customer focused environment
Experience working on rooftop HVAC units
Familiar with VAV (Variable air volume) Boxes
Excellent communication skills including: written, verbal, email, etc.
Previous customer service/customer facing experience
Work Environment
Biotech building in Cambridge, MA
Please note that these roles will not involve going into occupied hotel rooms.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis
Shift
- Hours 7 am - 3 pm ; M-F
