Jacobs Technology Inc., dba Jacobs, seeks a Computer Network Architect for a position in East Boston, Massachusetts. Perform analytics of network and systems operation for the design, architecture, integration, and implementation for various phases of the project life cycle; install, maintain, and support network hardware, software, and peripherals; coordinate and facilitate proof of concept, support, implementation, and IT solutions; support networks and camera systems; prepare technical specifications; and prepare and maintain documentation of network and systems configurations and layouts. Must have a Master’s Degree in Computer & Information Technology OR Information Technology Management OR Business Administration OR Information Technology OR Related Field. Must have one academic course (or six months of experience) in/with each of the following areas: (1) Information Governance, (2) Architectural Design and Implementation with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and air-gapped solutions, (3) Cyberlaw, Regulations, and Compliance, (4) Storage Solutions with Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), and (5) Current and Emerging Technology. Skills and experience may be evidenced by academic transcripts and materials, or employment or other testimonials, if requested. 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
