Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for the final assemblies. They will take all the pieces that were made by the welders and machinists and assemble them together using hand and power tools. Candidates will follow blueprints to ensure that they are building these correctly. Assemblies are all very large mechanical parts for car washes. This role is physical, and candidates need to be comfortable lifting 50 lbs. Equipment is available for lifting anything heavier than that.
Responsibilities
Perform final assemblies of large mechanical parts for car washes.
Use hand and power tools to assemble pieces made by welders and machinists.
Follow blueprints to ensure correct assembly.
Handle physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
1 year of large mechanical assembly experience.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Proficiency in reading and following blueprints.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in welding, fabrication, or machining is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean and organized manufacturing floor with plenty of space. It is quiet and well-lit. The team currently consists of 15 people, with plans to grow to about 25 by the end of the year.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
