Micron’s Enterprise Infrastructure and Security organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive pivotal initiatives, align organizational objectives, and deliver key IT programs for the company. As part of this dynamic team, you’ll collaborate across Security and IT Infrastructure functions, ensuring that organizational strategy is supported by clear priorities and measurable deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with Security and IT Infrastructure teams to align domain objectives into cohesive organizational strategy.

  • Program Delivery: Coordinate and deliver organizational programs, ensuring successful execution.

  • Process Improvements: Drive business process enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Strategy Contribution : Directly contribute to strategy development and key initiative delivery.

  • Business Operations: Lead operational aspects, including metric development and reporting for organizational health.

Reporting Structure:

  • This role reports to the IT Director | Chief of Staff for Enterprise Infrastructure and Security.

  • You’ll support the VP and Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Micron, as well as the extended leadership team for the Enterprise Infrastructure & Security organization.

Objectives:

  • Operational Improvements: Support the Chief of Staff and CSO in developing and delivering key initiatives for IT security and infrastructure domains.

  • Business Reviews and Updates: Manage the content and coordination of monthly business reviews and strategic updates for senior leadership. Track open issues and ensure timely delivery by content owners.

  • Organizational Coordination: Track, manage, and coordinate activities of the leadership team. Provide transparency into upcoming deliverables and oversee their successful completion.

  • Strategic Program Leadership: Drive and oversee strategic programs at the organizational level.

  • Process Streamlining: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement improvements within the organization.

  • Budget and Metrics: Collaborate with business leads to ensure that budget, operational metrics, and organizational action items are delivered according to committed timelines.

  • Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo and find opportunities for continuous improvement, simplifying operational overhead.

  • Urgency and Accountability: Lead with urgency, prioritize objectives, remove barriers, and drive accountability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Business Management, or equivalent work experience

  • Senior-level experience leading large-scale project and program delivery in a technical environment

  • Prior experience as a program manager in a matrixed organization

  • Background in process improvement and organizational change management

  • Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility, and influence.

  • Outstanding influence skills to effectively drive program / project efforts. Ability to quickly put structure in place and drive adoption

  • Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills – ability to partner and find common points of agreement with customers

Other

  • Minimal travel as needed.

  • 10+ years' experience in Information Technology. 5+ years in program/project management

  • PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma or other industry recognized certifications preferred

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$125,000.00 - $271,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
