We are seeking a highly motivated Process Gas and Process Chemical Project Engineer to join our dynamic Global Construction Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting the successful execution of multiple semiconductor construction projects around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Global Oversight:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on process gas and process chemical systems for assigned projects.

  • Review and approve local engineering designs and specifications, ensuring alignment to global standards and best practices.

  • Identify and handle technical risks.

  • Collaborate with Global Procurement to ensure timely acquisition of materials and equipment.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation related to process gas and process chemical systems.

  • Support project commissioning and startup activities.

  • Track project progress and report to Global Project Management.

  • Local Team Collaboration:

  • Champion positive relationships and open communication with Local Construction Teams at project sites.

  • Provide technical support and answer questions from Local Construction Teams.

  • Participate in project meetings and discussions with Local Construction Teams to ensure alignment on project goals and landmarks.

  • Train and mentor Local Construction Team members on process gas and process chemical systems standard methodologies.

Delineation Between Global and Local Roles:

  • Global Project Engineer:

  • Acts as the central technical authority on process gas and process chemical systems for assigned projects.

  • Provides strategic direction and mentorship to Local Construction Teams.

  • Ensures global standards and best practices are implemented across projects.

  • Local Construction Team:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day execution of process gas and process chemical system installation and construction activities at the project site.

  • Reports to the Global Project Engineer on technical matters related to process gas and process chemical systems.

  • Implements global standards and best practices as advised by the Global Project Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications:

2-10+ years experience (depending on level) in Gas or Chemical project work, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech construction industry.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management , Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
