Example of Duties:

The Licensing and Registration Manager will provide leadership, oversee, and manage the Licensing program and professional licensing staff for the Occupational Licenses Bureau of the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses. This program supports the licensure work on behalf of the Boards, Commissions, and Committees in the Occupational Licenses Bureau of the Division. The licensing responsibilities include ensuring that the licensure processes meet regulatory requirements, are efficient and timely, provide clear instructions and guidance to the applicants, and protect the public per the mission of each board. In addition, the Licensing and Registration Manager will ensure appropriate communication between the boards and stakeholders, state government, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications

Some knowledge of: management practices.

Experience: managing a major program and supervising staff.

Minimum Qualifications Specialties:

Expertise in:

  • Managing and improving program development and performance

  • Analyzing complex management issues and developing recommendations for improvement

Experience in:

  • Analyzing data and preparing written reports about findings

  • Making oral presentations
