North Atlantic Industries Warehouse/Machine Operator in Bohemia, New York
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacturing of circuit boards. This position involves operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines, where you will use computers to accurately mount electrical components directly onto printed circuit boards. You will be integral to the production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability for military, aerospace, and industrial markets. Additionally, you will have the ability to cross-train in different functional areas and work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements: Set up and label SMT products Production masking and using different types of adhesives. Component Preparation. Mechanical Assembly with lite hand soldering. Production Cleaning and Packaging. Interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working in production and PCB Assembly. Familiarity with Assembly tools and Through hole and Surface mount Technology would be a plus. Must be computer literate. Language Skills
The individual in this position must be fluent in writing, speaking and understanding English. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Other Skills and Abilities
Familiar with using hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc. Conscientious regarding quality, time management, teamwork, and safety. Flexibility to train and move between functional areas.
