This position will follow a hybrid working schedule in Dallas, TX, Blue Bell, PA, or Hartford, CT
The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal Cost of Service role in the strategic direction of Signify Health’s business. This Controllership role is within the Health Care Delivery segment. The role includes challenging initiatives, problem-solving, interesting accounting, and process ownership in a fast paced, growing environment.
What will you do?
Become the Accounting subject matter expert for Cost of Service expenses.
Work on cross-functional teams to design, plan and implement strategic compensation accounting approaches leveraging multiple source systems
Manage and coordinate accounting and closing processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Ensure timely completion of all close deadlines, including journal entries, analytics and other required tasks as assigned by Leadership.
Partner and work closely with Provider Pay, Shared Services, AP/Payroll and FP&A team members to solve complex problems and dig in to find resolution.
Work closely with colleagues to optimize Cost of Service month end close accruals through PowerBI Dashboards, Vendor reporting and other.
Become knowledgeable in all HCS products and the relationship between Revenue and Cost of Service.
Review and design month end balance sheet account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and an audit-ready mindset.
Analyze financial results by business unit or at a consolidated level to identify trends and provide commentary for variances.
Mentor other team members to drive accuracy, efficiency, and expertise at all levels.
Present the variance (or flux) analysis for the balance sheet & income statement on a monthly basis and detailed analysis of the accounts your team oversees on a quarterly basis to our department leaders and decision makers on our month end close calls.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls.
Assist and provide detailed explanations and reporting to inquiries for audit, financial reporting and tax.
Must be able to work and bring a positive attitude in an ever-changing environment, including; acquisitions, system conversions etc.
Drive adoption of technology solutions for the automation of tasks and improved efficiencies of the functions you oversee.
Ensure high-quality, audit-ready documentation and supporting schedules are maintained for all the transactions within the functions you oversee.
Review work with a high level of scrutiny and with an auditor’s lens.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of technical accounting skills and understanding of GAAP.
5+ years of Advanced Excel experience.
1+ years of project management experience.
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Education
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of related experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
