Fox Rothschild LLP Education Employment Attorney (Alternate Track) - Blue Bell, PA in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

*Description: *Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Montgomery County (Blue Bell), PA office for an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney in the Education Law Department. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in all aspects of employment litigation (federal and state practice) and traditional labor law. Experience representing educational entities a plus. This is a non-partnership track position. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

*Qualifications: *Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong academic record, research, writing, and analytical skills required.
  • Federal and state court employment litigation experience required.
  • Experience in employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and assisting in the defense of EEOC-related work required.
  • Experience representing educational entities in labor and employment and general education matters preferred.
  • Experience conducting investigations and with counseling on Title IX preferred.

     

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
