Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Bloomington, Minnesota
Description
We are in the healthcare industry, specifically located in Bloomington, Minnesota. We are searching for an Accounts Receivable Clerk who can provide crucial support to our financial team. The role involves managing and overseeing various processes related to customer credit and payments.
Responsibilities:
• Work in collaboration with various departments as a central hub for managing journal entries of debits and cash.
• Handle heavy reconciliations, depositing cash from different sites and ensuring they all coincide.
• Assist in processing and entering co-pays when applicable.
• Conduct auditing and cross-referencing of accounts to ensure accuracy prior to reporting.
• Manage the sorting and organizing of mail pay.
• Oversee online bill pay and wire transfers.
• Collaborate with bank partners to reconcile accounts.
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, Excel Formulas, Computer Data Entry, Data Entry, Data Entry - Numeric, Perform Data Entry, Customer Service, and Cash Handling.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections.
• Experience with Commercial Collections.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel Formulas.
• Ability to perform accurate Computer Data Entry, Data Entry, and Data Entry - Numeric tasks.
• Capability to Perform Data Entry tasks efficiently.
• Strong Customer Service skills.
• Experience in Cash Handling.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the Healthcare/NHS industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards related to account receivable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection standards.
• Professional and ethical conduct at all times.
