Cook Medical Senior Medical Education Manager, Program Development - Remote based in any Region in Bloomington, Indiana

Overview

Primary Function:

Establish operational, cross-functional plans to implement the vision and strategy of Medical Education (MedEd) and training, in alignment with the divisions' business goals.

Collaborate with and influence Brand Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and other divisional and functional teams to execute plans.

Align the strategies of Medical Education with the Division’s strategic goals, priorities and overall company strategy and vision, to help our customers provide the best patient outcomes.

Work with MedEd Leadership to establish metrics to measure effectiveness of all educational programs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with and influence division teams, leaders, functions, and stakeholders to establish internal teams to align priorities, projects, and plans across Medical Education and divisions.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and resources to align and execute on needs for Medical Education, including digital content, in-service alignment, promotional strategies for registrations and HCP interactions.

Influences the overall Medical Education strategy and direction.

Collaborate with senior division and specialty leadership to link and align Medical Education priorities, programs, and plans.

Manages large, complex initiatives of strategic importance involving cross-functional teams.

Establishes objectives for Medical Education campaigns and channels, including assisting with customer meetings and events.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (MedEd managers, marketing, product management, sales, etc.) to ensure MedEd is involved early on in the planning for product launches, campaigns, initiatives, etc.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on the brand team to ensure MedEd priorities are included in Brand perception work and initiatives.

Work with key stakeholders to lead the operational planning for execution of Medical Education strategies.

Manage communication with all stakeholders, including leadership updates.

Pro-actively addresses barriers and risks to the execution of Medical Education strategies, keeping leadership informed of critical considerations and the implications of priority decisions.

Listen to feedback from customers and employees and take action to resolve issues and gaps quickly and effectively.

Demonstrate clear understanding of and adherence to compliance and legal standards and regulatory processes relative to technical and procedural education delivery and materials.

Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely manner.

Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.

Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product-specificrequirements are met.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.Minimum 10 years relevant experience which may include sales, marketing, medical education, or other experience in the medical device industry.Experience in developing and executing plans to implement business strategies.Demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Ability to travel as needed, up to 50%.Work under general office environmental conditions
