We have an exciting opportunity with one of our top clients in Blauvelt, NY ! This company is a leading furniture distribution company that prides itself on providing exceptional quality and stylish furniture solutions for homes across the nation. They are a rapidly growing company that is looking to expand their team by bringing on a Delivery Helper ! The basic purpose of this position would be to perform duties involving the transportation of goods that allow the organization to fulfill its distribution of its products and services. Please see the following:
Location: Blauvelt, NY
Hours: M-F 6 AM - 3 PM (flexible)
Pay Rate: $21 hr.
Temp-to-hire for the right person!
Responsibilities:
Understand basic handling and protection of our products.
Assist with loading/unloading trucks/containers consisting of boxes/packages of product/supplies.
Assist in projects throughout the warehouse to keep products stored in a clean, organized, safe manner.
Assist with Quality Control on products throughout the distribution process.
Understand inventory SKU and S/N designations.
Understand proper usage of material handling equipment.
Properly uses PPE as needed.
Capable of performing basic cleaning and refurbishing of products.
Understands and is capable of basic furniture assembly.
Understands basic art hanging techniques.
Capable of making a bed to company standards.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
1+ year of furniture handling.
Experience driving 26 ft. box truck
Reliable transportation.
Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
