Sentry Alarms Technician in Binghamton, New York

Technician - The Sentry Alarms Technician will install and service Security Systems (alarms, access control, Cameras, intercoms) for both business and residential customers. The Technician will operator Sentry Alarms vehicle, use tools, ladders, and electronic equipment to successfully provide levels of security to customers of Sentry Alarms. The Technician will work as a team with fellow Sentry Alarms Employees to educate and assist customers. The Technician will be responsible for providing excellent customer experience and complete understanding of the equipment the customer will be using.

<P> Key duties and Responsibilities. <LI> Installation of alarms and controls. <LI> Troubleshooting electronic components and wiring issues. <LI> Provide excellent customer service. <LI> Understand and implement written work orders. <LI> Maintain communication with necessary employees for job completion. <LI> Timely completion and submission of paperwork. <LI> Other duties as assigned.

<P> Skills & Qualifications <LI> Able to drive vehicle in a safe and courteous manner. <LI> Able to use a variety of tools, manuals and electronic and climb ladder. <LI> Able to wire electrical components. <LI> Able to crawl through attics, crawlspaces, and other small areas. <LI> Able to use various electronic devises, including but not limited to tablets, smartphones, laptops. <LI> Proficient with software programs, including but not limited to email. <LI> Effective written and oral communicator. <LI> Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with people from a variety of ages, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.

<P> Job requirements - <LI> Ability to work Overtime. <LI> Ability to be on call (weekends and occasional evenings. <LI> Ability to lift 40 lbs. <LI> Clean Driving record. <LI> Neat and professional appearance.
