Care Compass Network Project Manager II (HYBRID) in Binghamton, New York
Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, this position provides oversight and leadership of the planning, implementation, and monitoring of assigned programs and initiatives. This position also serves as a network lead and effectively incorporates strategy, tools and techniques to manage programs efficiently.Essential Functions:For initiatives you lead, facilitate team meetings to plan, execute, and monitor programs including managing work plans, identifying risks and ensuring project plans remain on target. For initiatives you lead or participate in, develop project plan(s) with detailed project tasks, milestones and timelines that drive operational implementation of assigned initiatives. Develop internal workflows and processes in response to the needs of new programs.Monitor and report progress and results to ensure that initiatives you are working on meet expectations and deadlines. Manage and communicate ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance. Consistently produces concise, clear status reports. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for assigned programs throughout the duration of the program.For initiatives you lead or participate in, develop effective, analytical mitigation plans by analyzing problems and challenges, evaluating solutions and working with the applicable team members to choose appropriate fixes and implement them. Facilitate resolution of all issues to reach project goals.For the initiatives you lead or co-lead, manage the relationship with Stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.Accountable for completing program deliverables within guidelines set for scope, schedule, cost, and quality. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs (including staff resource time).Appropriately prioritizes, determines, and coordinates activities for assigned program/initiative in achieving objectives.Leverages subject matter experts to provide frameworks/best practices and to assist work groups/project teams as needed during strategy development and execution.Monitors performance, develops and implement business solutions to address process and quality gaps, and communicates network strategy and planning to Stakeholders (internal and external). This includes communication of program related services/outcomes to 3rd party beneficiaries.Demonstrates experience creating effective project plans, dependencies, critical path activities, critical success factors and utilizes these strategies to manage programs efficiently.Integrate continuous improvement in program design, execution and monitoring.For initiatives you lead or participate in, define and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor’s degree required or 10 years equivalent experience managing projects as a Project Manager or Project Director.Project Management Professional (PMP) training or direct equivalent project management experience (with agreement to do PMP training within 1 year).Possesses strong communication skills (written and verbal).Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.Proficient in planning & time management.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Utilizes critical thinking skills.Possesses adaptability skills (both in attitude and action).Skilled with personal computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint etc.)Facilitation of meetings either in person or via virtual platforms such as Zoom. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Minimum Required: N/APreferred: PMP Certification preferred but not required.Preferred: Preference will be given to qualified candidates with experience, knowledge, education, and/or skills in behavioral health services, management, and systems (Mental Health, Substance Use, and Co-Occurring Disorders.)WORK ENVIRONMENT:Care Compass Network utilizes a hybrid work model where employees are able to work remotely from a home office or from the CCN office, a non-clinical professional office setting. There may be some travel required for partner and/or network meetings.
Minimum Salary: 60000 Maximum Salary: 85000 Salary Unit: Yearly
