First Family Counseling Clinical Therapist II in Bingham Farms, Michigan
We are looking for Clinical Therapists ( LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LP, LMFT, etc. ) to join our team . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology, counseling, or social work and be able to provide evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Experience with populations who have experienced Domestic Violence is a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing individual therapy sessions, and developing treatment plans, court reports and other documentation. MDHHS and Assured Family Services employees/contractors are NOT eligible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
- Conduct assessments.
- Develop treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Educate clients about mental health issues and provide support.
- Work with clients to identify goals and objectives for therapy.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care.
