Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team as an Accounting Clerk, based in Beverly Hills, California. You will be primarily involved in general ledger work and payables, with the possibility of taking on additional responsibilities beyond the accounting duties. This role is a contract to hire employment opportunity, making it an exciting chance to grow within the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Undertake basic General Ledger (G/L) work in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage payables efficiently, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
• Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as needed
• Resolve any accounting discrepancies or irregularities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of finance-related tasks
• Ensure all financial data adheres to legal and company regulations
• Participate in financial audits and assist with financial analysis as required
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of one year of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
• Proficiency in working with General Ledger is mandatory
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with relevant accounting software
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
