ManpowerGroup Quality Assurance Manager (Food Safety) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Our top Food Manufacturing client is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Bethlehem, PA. This position will play an integral role in providing Quality Assurance and Food Safety expertise, leadership, direction, and support.

Location: Bethlehem, PA (on-site)

What’s the Job?

  • Manage on-going compliance and updates to HACCP and Food Safety Plans to meet current SQF and NSF requirements, FDA and FSMA regulations, as well as to all other State, Local, Regulatory, and third-party audit requirements.

  • Provide site leadership for certifications (and execute where needed) to include internal audits, mock recall, mock crisis management exercises, food fraud and food defense risk assessments, Kosher audits, Organic audits, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, etc. to ensure compliance.

  • Manage Quality Assurance and Sanitation teams in the development and ongoing maintenance of plant quality systems to include the documentation of policies, procedures, internal audit programs, standard operating procedures, sanitation standard operating procedures, and documentation of product specifications.

  • Ensure full adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Sanitation activities to maintain high productivity and process/product integrity in a clean, food safe facility. Ensure the oversight of a comprehensive Environmental program.

  • Manage in-process and finished product testing to comply with customer specifications; provide COA documentation when required.

What’s Needed?

  • SQF and NSF requirement and FDA and FSMA regulations knowledge

  • Progressive Quality Assurance experience in food manufacturing (Supervisory experience)

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively both internally and externally to the organization

  • Detail oriented, independent, self-directed

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong Computer skills in MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
