Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Berea, Ohio
Description We are in need of a highly meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in BEREA, Ohio. This role involves managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate records, as well as addressing customer inquiries and monitoring accounts for delinquent payments. This opportunity offers a contract to hire employment arrangement.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications and ensure the accuracy of all transactions.
• Maintain updated and precise customer credit records.
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to credit in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate actions to collect overdue payments.
• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Handle the entering of vouchers with 3-way match and check runs as part of Accounts Payable duties.
• Manage Accounts Receivable duties such as credit checks, establishing new accounts, applying payments to customer accounts, and issuing credit memos.
• Handle collections on past due invoices and provide necessary information to new accounts.
• Post account transactions, maintain accounting ledgers and make necessary journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation and completion of month-end and year-end close processes. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Skilled in Data Entry and Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle and SAP
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information
